The process is simple and easy.
Your meals will be prepared, chilled, packed and dispatched from the kitchen of Koha Kai in Invercargill.
We use a nation wide courier network to deliver all meals within 24 hours of plating. Your meals will be packaged in a eco-wool insulator, with ice packs to keep them chilled and fresh.
All deliveries are left at the address provided on the order. Signature on delivery is not required. If you have purchased meals for others, we advise you let them know to expect this on your chosen delivery day.
Meals can be refrigerated for up to 3 days from delivery. All meals are date and batch stamped with a recommended freeze by date if not consumed. Meals can be frozen for up to 3 months.
Where possible, our fresh produce is harvested from the gardens of Koha Kai in Invercargill. We support local growers from the region and our priority is to always use fresh, spray-free and locally grown produce.
Our goal is to be as environmentally friendly as possible. The box that your meals arrive in, as well as the food trays can be recycled in your yellow recycling bin. Send the the eco-wool liner and your chiller ice pack back to us using the return delivery ticket enclosed in your box, and we’ll recycle this packaging for future orders.
